Course Objectives:
As the demand for phlebotomists grows, PDTS, LLC will offer basic concepts of Phlebotomy. Phlebotomy concepts will range from human anatomy to phlebotomy clinical. Students will be taught how collection and preparation of the blood is done and the techniques to safely handle blood. Students will also learn all the medical tools that are involved with phlebotomy. Students will learn medical terminology, communication skills, lab safety procedures and experience time in an onsite clinical setting allowing them to have hands-on training taking blood draws under direct supervision. Phlebotomists draw blood from patients for lab tests and procedures. They are critical members of the care team in medical practices and hospitals.
Phlebotomy will focus on order of draw and techniques to safely handle procedures. We will practice how to explain procedures to patients and answer their questions, take reading for blood glucose levels, prepare specimens for testing, etc. Lab simulation will be conducted to give students hands-on experience using equipment that mirrors what is found in a lab. Students will practice venipunctures and capillary refills.
Our Phlebotomy program consists of 90 hours including classroom theory and lab simulation. These programs include comprehensive, fast-paced training in a classroom learning theory, lab simulation activities performed in our clinical area and hands-on clinical training on up-to-date equipment to enhance learning of skills.
Upon meeting all requirements for graduation, students will receive a certificate and be able to apply for National Testing. A certificate of completion will not be granted unless fees are paid in its entirety. Certificate of Completion will include name of student and that the student has successfully completed the specific training program. It will have the name of the program along with the completion hours.

Half & Half Plan:
This plan allows students to pay 50% of tuition down at registration and pay the remaining 50% balance by the third Monday of class.
Delay Your Pay Plan:
This plan allows students to have their name on our waiting list. The student can delay their class start date by paying a deposit (whatever they can afford) and making additional scheduled payments (agreed upon on the contract through the school) until full tuition is paid before the start of class session.
Sponsorships:
Private funds from agencies are accepted. No financial aid is permitted.
Refund Policy:
Full tuition refunds will be issued to students if a student withdraws in writing within 72 hours after signing the enrollment agreement (until midnight of the third day; excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays). After the third day, but before classes begin, the school may retain the $50 non-refundable application fee. Once classes have begun and up to 60 percent of the program hours have been completed, school may retain the $50 application fee plus a pro-rata portion of the tuition based on the last date attended. The pro-rata refund is calculated by dividing the number of clock hours attended by the total number of clock hours in the program and applying that percentage to the total tuition cost.
Example: If a student attends 40 out of 200 total clock hours, they would be responsible for 20% of the tuition (40 ÷ 200 = 0.20), and the remaining 80% would be refunded, minus the $50 application fee.
After sixty percent or more of the program clock hours have been completed, no tuition refund will be issued.
All applicable refunds will be processed and issued within 40 days of the student’s official withdrawal date, as determined by the written notice of withdrawal and last date of attendance.

Recovery shall not exceed the amounts paid by or on the behalf of the debtor/student.
